Winning Beyond the Pitch: Why Client Experience Is Your Competitive Edge

Leadership Series Upcoming • September 24th, 2026 • 16:00 GMT

Customers and prospects have more brands, content, pitches, and experiences competing for their attention than ever before.

So what makes one company impossible to forget?

Increasingly, the answer isn’t just what you sell or the idea you pitch. It’s the experience you create around it.

Join Itai Amoza, CEO & Co-Founder of Storydoc, and Nate Moulter, New Business Director at Trigger(House, for a practical conversation about why client experience has become one of the most powerful ways for companies to differentiate themselves – from the first pitch and sales interaction through to the work and experiences they ultimately deliver.

Trigger(House is an independent experiential agency that creates everything from large-scale events and national tours to pop-ups, stunts, and one-of-a-kind brand experiences.

As the person leading new business, Nate sees both sides of the process: what it takes to sell an ambitious creative idea and what it takes to deliver on its promise.

He’ll share what his team has learned from pitching and delivering creative work for major brands, what separates an experience that earns the next budget from one that’s simply a “nice event,” and the mistakes companies make when trying to communicate the value of what they do.

Itai will bring data from Storydoc’s research into how buyers actually engage with sales content – revealing what happens when companies replace static, forgettable pitches with experiences that are more visual, interactive, personalized, and built around storytelling.

Together, they’ll explore both sides of the equation: how to create experiences clients remember, and how to make them feel that value before they’ve even said yes.

You’ll also get a behind-the-scenes look at how Trigger(House uses Storydoc to showcase creative work and bring the experience of the company into the pitch itself.

What you’ll learn:

  • Why client experience is becoming a critical competitive advantage for creative agencies and other client-facing businesses.

  • What separates experiences that build lasting client relationships from those that are simply well-executed.

  • The biggest mistakes companies make when pitching ambitious ideas and competing for major budgets.

  • Why storytelling, video, personalization, and interactivity can dramatically change how prospects engage with a pitch.

  • Where experiential content and video can have the greatest impact across the sales cycle.

  • How to communicate the value of premium, high-quality experiences when competing against cheaper or more scalable alternatives.

If you work in new business, marketing, sales, creative, or company leadership, you’ll leave with practical ideas for making every stage of the client journey more memorable – and turning the experience you deliver into an advantage competitors can’t easily copy.
